During the summer of 2022, Hyde Park Solutions (HPS) – a current supplier to East West Rail (EWR) – were asked to respond to a request for proposal (RFP) to migrate P6 and Unifier from their hosted ‘on premise’ environment to the Oracle Cloud.

EWR chose HPS as we had the expertise, experience, and quality processes required to ensure a risk-free migration to the Oracle Cloud. They went on to say that we were the only partner offering support for all Primavera products backed up by Oracle specialist resources.

During the procurement process the HPS team explained our robust migration process for Unifier and P6. We shared ‘war stories’ and unwittingly managed to identify a couple of issues within the existing EWR hosted environment.

EWR’s NEC configuration was partially delivered by another partner and required reconfiguration of some existing business processes before User Acceptance Testing (UAT) could be completed. Having identified EWR’s issues, we were quick to explain that we had documented remedies for these, and their tight delivery timeframes would still be met.
