Recently The Well Engineering Group a global leader in a gas exploration worked with Hyde Park Solutions and Oracle to strengthen its market leading position. They wanted better data with more proactive tracking and management of top quartile well performance and HHSE statistics and issues. At the same time they needed to optimise well and rig schedules through the entire life cycle of any exploration opportunity.
To strengthen their dominant market position they needed to transform how they collected, consolidated and analysed key data spread across a number of enterprise applications including; SAP, SharePoint, and Excel. It was important to integrate well & rig scheduling and management solution in to the enterprise and find a way for the integrated solution to be deployed enterprise-wide across global operations in 25 countries world-wide.
It became a complex 12-stage design, review and funding processes that needed to be automated and managed globally, including an automated workflow processes for functional review submittal, even in countries with no online access.
It was no mean feat but Hyde Park Solutions who worked with the Well Engineering group to develop and deliver an integrated Well Project Management and Well Asset Portfolio Management solution. “An integrated and efficient management process enabled us to be better at managing our engineering assets generally and to offer a more proactive tracking and management of top quartile well performance, HHSE statistics and issues, while optimising well and rig schedules through the entire life cycle of an exploration opportunity, “they said. “Finally we had an enterprise system that enabled us to focus on decision making rather than wondering whose data was correct “
